The Stoney Education Authority invites applications for the following positions for Morley Community School (MCS). This is a Grade 6 to grade 12 First Nation School located 50 kms west of Calgary on the Morley Reserve.

The successful applicant must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Education degree, along with Alberta Teaching Certification. Preference will be given to applicants who are familiar with First Nations cultural values, beliefs, customs, and literacy.

Foods Program Teacher JH/HS

  • Responsible for Food (FOD) courses for:

  • Grade 6-9/ Complimentary Classes

  • HS/ FOD 10-20-30 Courses as required for Secondary students based on Alberta Education and LearnAlberta program of study courses requirements and objectives.

  • Dual credit program with SAIT

  • Handle and manage ordering of food and supplies courses as per approval of school administration and allotted budget.

  • Must also adhere to safety, sanitation and food preparation standards.

  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitized learning and instructional environment.

  • Differentiation and blended teaching experience and Special/Inclusive Education a plus; Google Chrome, Google Classroom, and Google + Education experience necessary, and technology experience and knowledge required.
